A survey of health experts found wearable health trackers to be the most credible consumer wellness technology, with 40% of respondents saying they offer tangible benefits, while 31% said none of the listed biohacking trends currently on the market have proven value at all, according to survey data released in 2026.

The panel of longevity experts, dietitians, medical doctors and clinical researchers ranked foundational habits, physical activity, balanced nutrition, and social connection, well above trending biohacks or supplements as the most effective interventions for healthy aging. Notably, 59% of experts identified social isolation as the most underappreciated accelerator of biological aging, warning that a lack of meaningful social connection compounds stress and worsens sleep, contributing to long-term risks including heart disease and dementia.
