Aussie actor Hugh Jackman had a problem: he had all of that Wolverine money burning a hole in his pocket, but couldn't decide on a charity. So, he did what most people do nowadays when they need advice: he took to Twitter and asked his followers.
Jackman tweeted a challenge to his followers: convince him, in 140 characters or less, as to why he should donate $100,000 to their favorite charity. The response was huge, and Jackman finally settled on two worthy finalists. The winners were Charity: Water, which has lately enjoyed extra exposure from stars like Justin Bieber and Jessica Biel, and Operation of Hope, which helps provide surgeries for children with cleft lips.
Not only did Jackman help those two charities with a $100,000 donation, but he brought more exposure to them and many other charities with his Twitter competition. And that's why he's a superhero.
