10 Celebrities Using Twitter For Good

Lady Gaga

The #1 woman on Twitter is also one that has used the social networking site for good. Lady Gaga was a participant in Alicia Keys' "digital death" campaign, in which a number of stars signed off of Twitter and Facebook until a million dollars were donated to "Keep A Child Alive", an organization fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
Additionally, during the fight to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", Lady Gaga tweeted to her followers to call their senators and ask them to vote for a DADT repeal. The message was received, and later Gaga celebrated the victory on Twitter as well.
